Welcome to my web page!
Let me give you a brief overview of my background as you navigate through this site. I am originally from Indiana and have lived in Roswell since 1997. I am married with two sons who are both EPMS and RHS graduates. Teaching is a second career for me as my work history includes not-for-profit management and working in university admissions.
I've been teaching at EPMS since the day the doors opened in 2001. I've gravitated towards the reading curriculum as I believe reading strength is vital for all academic areas and fundamental to becoming a life long learner in society.
I have an undergraduate degree in Psychology with a minor in Business Administration as well as a Masters in Education. In 2010, I was honored as the EPMS Teacher of the Year.
Whether you're a student or parent of a student, my hope is for this site to be a supportive resource and vehicle of communication towards a successful year of achievement in reading.
